ENVIRO-SELEC 

I recently moved from a large house to a smaller house and I had to get rid of some things. I had a stove that worked perfectly, just did not have any room for it, a sectional chesterfield, in perfectly usable shape, just too big for the new house. There were other household items,  all still usable, but not by me.

What to do with this stuff? All of these things still had good life in them, they were way to usable for the landfill but were not easily disposable by other means. I hauled them down to the end of the driveway and put a sign on them, FREE to good home. They were gone in a few hours, hopefully to a good home where someone else can get some good life out of them.

I am not the only person in this situation, we all have things we no longer need but could be of value to someone else. Far too often, the things we no longer need are relegated to the landfill.

Good useable items, everything from clothes, to appliances, building materials, sports equipment, toys, and the list is endless. There should be a way to hook up our unwanted things and find someone who can use them and keep them out of the landfills.

This is where HHH comes in. Along with our commerce side of the site, bringing Labor Providers and Labor Users together, we want to have a section of out site dedicated to helping to take the strain off our Environment by reducing the massive amount of usable household products that end up in our over flowing landfills.

This section of the HHH site will be called ENVIRO-SELEC, Enviro is short for the Environment, SELEC is short for, Saving the Environment with Lifestyle and Educated Choices.

I believe that given a choice, people would rather donate or give away their unwanted , unneeded things to someone who can use them  rather than just dumping them in the landfills.

This is how the ENVIRO-SELEC system works.

1. Follow the regular procedure to get to your specific city or town.
2. Click on the POST AD button, then select "ENVIRO-SELEC as catagory
3. Post what you have available for FREE pick up. This is not a for sale site. Listings here are meant as a ways and means for interested parties to move usable goods and materials from people who no longer can no longer use them or need them to others who can use them or need them. The end result is that items that are usable by someone somewhere, are no longer finding there way to our landfills. It’s a win win situation for everyone, especially for the environment.
